Terrea - Comic Book
Terrea… the mysterious city of the Goddess, whose rivalry with the Three Shadows will shape the saga of this fantastic world — of the army that once sought to conquer it, of the traveller who crossed this world and the Other World, and much more…
”One of the most visually striking works in contemporary Portuguese comics, Terrea first appeared in 2015 as a small A5 self-published book, screen-printed and entirely handcrafted. It began as a series of self published drawings, created one after another with no initial intention of becoming a comic, yet already hinting at a narrative progression.
But the drawings gradually started to overlap, forming panels, demanding to become comics — demanding to become a fantasy saga.
That initial book was followed by new chapters, published either in A5 format or across several volumes of The Lisbon Studio Series, along with further unpublished material. All of these are now brought together in this book, which closes the first cycle of Terrea.”
